This plan aims to reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions from the electricity used at your banquet to virtually zero, contributing to society from an SDG perspective.

At Hotel Granvia Wakayama you can take advantage of our "CO₂ Zero MICE®" option, which allows you to replace the electricity used with renewable energy to create a sustainable event for your events, conferences, and banquets.

What are the fees for usingthe <CO₂ Zero MICE®> service?

This is the cost of purchasing "Green Power Certificates" using a package developed by JTB Communication Design Co., Ltd., which includes calculating the environmental value of renewable energy used at event venues, and encompassing renewable energy procurement and post-event verification.

Benefits of using this plan • "Green Electricity Certificate" issuance The "Green Power Certificate System" is a system certified by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization, allowing companies that do not own their own power generation facilities to prove their contribution to the spread of renewable energy by purchasing certificates. It can also be used to announce company and external activity reports..   - Can be advertised as a "CO₂ Zero" event. - Improving corporate reputation through initiatives related to SDGs and ISO 14001 - Contributes to obligations such as Tokyo Metropolitan Government's total emissions reduction obligation and the Act on Countermeasures against Global Warming.
